We need something new on here! So I'm just gonna type stuff so that there is some activity on this here blog of ours! From what I hear our next book, The Robe, is a thumbs up! It was made into a movie in 1953...just an fyi. I personally haven't even started it...don't even have a copy. We'll see how that goes. :) OH! I have an idea! Why don't we all put our favorite books up on here? Everyone just leave a comment on what their favorite book (or two or three) is. That's always an awesome way to find new reads or at least find ones that we have loved in the past and forgotten about. Enter your comments starting............NOW!

It's me again! LOL! My favorite books are:
ReplyDeleteHuckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
There are many others but I'll stop for now. :)
Hello Carrie formerly Zaugg! Sorry I'm crashin your party. I love book lists.
ReplyDeleteThe Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
Enchanted April by Elizabeth Van Armin
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Ooo, Pride and Prejudice...excellent! There's a new one just out called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It's supposed to be really funny.
I'm commenting on the Robe, it is really long with small print, I'm concerned about getting it done because it isn't one of those can't put down books. Thats all I'm gonna say I'll save the rest for the meeting.
ReplyDeleteI think it might be impossible for me to pick my 'favorite' books. I've been reading a lot of fluffy young adult lit lately and found some really good ones! I think some of my favorites books of all time are:
ReplyDeleteThe Goose Girl-Shannon Hale
Pride and Prejudice-Jane Austen
Harry Potters (I'm thinking maybe 3 or 6 my faves)
and I won't be ashamed to say the Twilight series. Eclipse being my fave one. Not stellar writing, but pure enjoyment for me!
and yeah...I'm still working on the Robe. I WANT to read it, I really do!
Hi "Lula"!! :) Your first two books sound very interesting! I'm gonna put those on my list of books to read in the future! And I'm glad you're crashing our party! LOL
ReplyDeleteOkay....I'm crashing here too. Hope that's okay. I concur with everyone's suggestions so far. I don't know if it's possible to narrow any book list down to 3 so I'll just go with three that I have recently enjoyed:
ReplyDeleteThe Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaker and Annie Barrows
Unwind by Neal Shusterman (absolutely chilling)
Thanks for letting me put in my two cents (or 3 books).
Ohhh, I LOVE the Woman in White. Excellent book. And Jane Eyre is my all time favorite. Also, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Robinson Crusoe.
